Who can use FNB On-Line?
Any First National Bank of Palmerton client may sign up and access
any of their accounts.
Can a business client use FNB On-Line?
Yes. The person opening the account must be and signing the
agreement must be the owner or president of the company.
Can business accounts and personal accounts be
combined under the same
client on-line set-up?
Not generally. On-line
set-ups are done on an individual basis, and businesses are considered
to be separate entities.
When is FNB On-Line available for use?
24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
However, the system may be down periodically for maintenance or
for other reasons outside of our control. FNB On-Line transactions are
processed and information updated only on business days (Monday through
Friday, excluding legal holidays).
How late in the evening can I make a transfer on
a
normal business day (Monday through Friday)?
The transfer cut-off time is 6:00 p.m.
EST.
Are there limits on the number of transfers
a
client can make?
Yes, depending on your account(s). Some, such as checking accounts, have no limits on the
number of transfers. However,
saving and money market accounts, by federal regulation, are allowed no
more than six transfers per month (including no more than three checks).
How current is the information?
The available balance for checking and saving accounts is real time
and will change throughout the day based on the activity. For
example, as the client transfers money between accounts, the available
balance will be updated to reflect the activity.
I'm having trouble accessing FNB On-Line.
What's the problem?
There are several possibilities. If
you are having problems accessing many web sites, please contact your
Internet Service Provider (ISP). If
you can access other websites but not ours, then either our system is off-line or we are experiencing a
temporary disruption in service. Please
try again later. If the problem persists, call
Customer Service at 1-800-344-2274 (Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.).
I can use all of the functions and read everything
on your website, but I cannot access the Online Banking
page.
Your browser must have
"cookies" enabled and be equipped with 128-bit encryption.
You
can test your browser to determine if you need the 128-bit encryption
software. Simply click the
"Test Browser" button located on our site in the "Access
Your Accounts" section of the page and you will receive a suggestion regarding
your browser software. Use the provided link to download the
appropriate browser software.
Password
Your Password must be 6 to 8 alpha-numeric digits.
Why won't my Password number work?
There could be several reasons. You
may be entering the wrong Password number or you could be locked out of the system.You
are allowed three Password attempts and if the 3rd attempt is invalid, you
will be locked out of the system. If
you have not accessed your accounts via FNB On-Line in the past 90 days,
you may be locked out of the system.
These are security features built into the system. If
you are locked out, contact
Customer Service at 1-800-242-4671 ( Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.)
and request that your account be
unlocked.
What if I forget my Identification Number
or PIN?
You will need to notify us. After verifying your identity, we
will reset your password. You may contact us by email
or by calling Customer Service at 1-800-242-4671 ( Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.)
What can I do to keep my information secure?
Ÿ
Do not use an obvious number or other
accessible information for your ID or
Password.
Ÿ
Make sure no one is watching when you enter
your ID and
Password.
Ÿ
Try to memorize your ID and Password rather than
writing them down.
Ÿ
If you record your ID and Password, store the document
in a secure place.
Ÿ
Do not share your ID and Password with others.
Ÿ
Report any usual account activity immediately.
Ÿ
Do not give your information to anyone requesting
it over the phone unless you have
initiated the call.
Ÿ
Always log out of the system.
What happens if I forget to log off of the system?
By default, FNB On-Line has a 10-minute time-out feature. If the
system is not used for 10 minutes, the user (you) will become inactive
and will have to log on again.
What does the downloading feature do?
The download option in "Account Access" allows you to
download transactions into spreadsheet, word processing and finance
programs (Quicken or Microsoft Money).
The download option in "Bill Payment" allows you to download
your payment schedule into most database, spreadsheet, word processing and finance
programs (Quicken or Microsoft Money).
